Working together to advance PFAS and micropollutant removal

Two weeks ago, our BlueBarrier™ partners from Atlas Copco, Veolia, Statifo, NEREUS, Desotec, and UV Guard came together at Utility Week Live to present the BlueBarrier™water treatment for PFAS and micropollutant removal – a compact, containerised solution that lets utilities and industrial users trial and then scale up a tailored treatment process.

The treatment was designed in direct response to an increase in enquiries from water utilities seeking to understand their options as regulatory pressure on micropollutant removal builds. 

Over the two days at UWL, we had fascinating discussions with visitors about innovation in water treatment, government regulations, the future of water utilities and how BlueBarrier™ can support. 

To familiarise our visitors with the treatment process, we ran a BlueBarrier™ 3D puzzle challenge on our stand, where people were invited to assemble BlueBarrier components in the correct order, as fast as possible.

Our winner solved it in just 25 seconds and went home with an M&S hamper to show for it! Have a look at how others got on.
