Curio Water has won a maintenance contract with Yorkshire Water to support UV disinfection across a number of key sites.
The agreement will see Curio deliver a comprehensive maintenance and support service across twelve sites in Yorkshire, reinforcing its position as a trusted specialist in UV water treatment across the UK.
Under the contract, Curio will provide preventative and reactive maintenance of UV disinfection systems at sites across the region, including emergency call-out response to reinstate UV service within defined timeframes.
The brief also includes enhanced cleaning services at high-criticality coastal facilities where operational intensity and bathing water compliance demand a higher level of service.
The contract demonstrates Curio’s full service offering for UV disinfection, which will see the company manage annual lamp replacements and the ongoing supply and coordination of critical and consumable spare parts. This includes site-based stock management and warranty support to ensure continued operational availability of UV assets.
The contract also covers structured asset and service reporting, with Curio providing detailed maintenance records, performance summaries, and follow-on works recommendations following each site visit.
The award builds on Curio's long-standing track record in UV water treatment and its growing portfolio of service and maintenance contracts with major UK water utilities.
Howard Marles, Chief Executive of Curio Group, said:
"We're delighted that Yorkshire Water has recognised our growing specialism in UV maintenance and trusted us to keep this vital disinfection process running reliably across their network.
"This contract is a direct reflection of the strategic partnerships we've built with UV Guard and Geemec, which together allow us to offer water utilities a truly end-to-end UV service that we believe is set to be the most advanced in the country.”
